ConstructSim Executive Client is a thin client used to configure and run data processing workflows in order to produce a VCM (Virtual Construction Model). It works in conjunction with the ConstructSim Executive Server and ConstructSim Work Package Server applications.

The ConstructSim Executive Client can remotely access multiple server projects exclusively, in that starting and stopping processing on one project does not impact the other. You can only connect to one project at a time, but processing continues on the server-side of the project.

The ConstructSim Executive Client is multi-instance in that multiple instances of the client can be run on the same machine. The client only requires valid log-in credentials and project connection settings.

• Different users can connect to different projects on the same machine.
• The same user can connect to different projects on the same machine or different machines.
• The same user can connect to the same project on different machines.

Only one administrator can run a workflow at a given time. Therefore, if two users have administrator privileges and connect to the same project, the first user to connect gets write access, while the second user is put in 'observer' mode (with the log-in name shown in red) until the other user logs out.

Aside from executing workflows, the ConstructSim Executive Client allows you to perform multiple functions which include:

• Export and import of all or part of a previously developed project configuration.
• Configure the data model for a given project (Component Types, Activity types) which in turn is used for configuration of engineering data such as CAD and Isometric files.
• Configure each of the engineering data inputs using the data model created above, as well as additional attributes as may be required for the project.
• Upload project-specific unit rate files and assign them to the workflow.
